The Society is presenting a Hidden Treasures Open Art Studio Tour June 25 and 26.
Hidden Treasures Open Studio Tour is a self guided tour of Strathcona County artists' studios.  Artists are also set up at the A.J. Ottewell Center, the Clay Hut,  Studio One and other businesses.  Experience the creative space of many talented area artists who will be showing and selling their artwork. There is no charge for this event.


The Ottewell Centre will be the site of the ACACA (Alberta Community Art Clubs Association) ALBERTA WIDE EXHIBIT from July 15 to August 14 ... Open Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 10 to 5 pm. (except the long weekend).
Wine and Cheese Reception July 23 from 7 to 9 with artists in attendance.  
The winning art entries from the 3 Provincial Zone Shows will be hung for your viewing pleasure.  Artwork will also be for sale.   The Loft Gallery & Gift Shop will also be open during the same hours!!
Come for a visit and check out the wonderful artwork from across Alberta.


The next General Meeting of the ASSC will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016, 7 pm, Ottewell Centre.  Speaker TBA.   New members in 2016 are invited to meet in the Loft at 6:30 pm for an information session. Visitors are always welcome. See you there!



The Loft Art Gallery & Gift Shop in the Ottewell Centre is open with artwork from local members and Feature Artist Joanne Denis until June 26.   Hours are 12 to 4 Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year.   This summer the Loft will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from July 15 to August 14 while the ASSC hosts the Alberta Wide Show of the ACACA.  This show features all the awarding winning entries from the three Alberta zone shows!!  Come for a visit and bring your friends and relatives as they visit Alberta!

Visit anytime the society's beautiful building (the old Red Barn - now the A. J. Ottewell Arts Centre at 590 Broadmoor Blvd).  Stop by at one of the Society's events, or during office hours 12 to 4 on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The building is very suitable for rentals and is a part of Sherwood Park's Heritage Mile.
